A CHANGED HEART NOT EMPTY WORDS

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you.” — Ezekiel 36:26

God is not interested in religious words that leave the heart untouched. He desires truth within us—a life transformed from the inside out.

We can learn the language of faith, attend services, and make promises while still protecting the attitudes and habits God wants to change. Real surrender goes deeper than appearance. It welcomes the Holy Spirit into our motives, reactions, relationships, and private decisions.

As you intercede for someone, do not pray only for better behavior. Pray for a renewed heart that desires God. Lasting change grows when the inner person is made new.

Lord, give __________ a new heart. Replace resistance with tenderness, deception with truth, and empty words with sincere faith. Let the change You begin within them become visible in the way they live and love. Amen.

And, Lord, do the same work in me. Change not only what others can see, but what only You and I know is there.
